helping you be greener by giving you information -
educational resources – products – opportunities

Anyone that has read this blog for any length of time, knows that I am
commited to enviromental issues and leaving the world a better place for our children. One of our favorite sponsors, ConservingNow, shares my passion and quite frankly, puts their money where their mouth is.

Conserving Now gives back…alot. They are so committed to educating our children that 100% of their profits go to fund their classroom kits and/or to offset the costs of the static cling distribution.

A primary goal of ConservingNow is to educate young children on the importance of becoming responsible environmental citizens. In addition to providing free teaching resources, we will partner with schools in a variety of ways:

Fund-raising Programs
Community Service Days
School Assembly Programs
High School Ambassador Program
Plastic Bag Awareness Week
Grocery Store Give-aways

Help ConservingNow educate the next generation! ConservingNow is making Classroom Education Kits available for purchase at a special price of $50 per kit! Donate one to YOUR kid’s classroom!

You can request your free static cling HERE and be reminded each time you get in your car to bring your re-useable bags with you.

My very first Envirosax bag came from Conserving now.  It has seem some VERY heavy use since then and has totally withstood the test of use and time. I’ve laundered it a few times and used it weekly, since the day I unpacked it, with no noticeable wear or weakening of the stitching or fabric. It easily handles everything I throw at it and comes back for more!

Envirosax are available in many many designs…each one prettier than the last, to allow you to not only show the world that you care about our Earth, but that you’re stylish and fun at the same time.

It’s my opinion that Envirosax is the ultimate Christmas gift. The bag, itself, would make just about anyone happy, but what if you also used Envirosax to wrap other gifts too? It would be the best double play..EVER. If everyone wrapped only one Christmas present, this year, in an Envirosax bag, think of the positive impact it would have! It kind of boggles the mind, doesn’t it? Watch how easy it is!

Each and every time your giftee uses their wonderful Envirosax bag, they will think of you and hopefully catch YOUR passion to be more green this year!

The wonderful folks at Conserving now would like to help you on your way to a greener holiday season and are offering one of my readers a chance to win this beautiful Envirosax Optimistic Bag 4! The new Optimistic Series aims to deliver a positive outlook through these vivacious, happy-go-lucky bags. Made for those who want to live life to the fullest, Optimistic brings bright colours to a monochromatic world.

Isn’t it festive? Don’t you LOVE it? It makes me happy just to look at it!

I have lots of ideas for making Christmas greener:
    - I’ll be wrapping all gifts in recycled or reusable materials, like newspaper, gift bags, fabric, tea towels and reusable shopping bags
    - We’ll get a real tree we cut ourselves from a local tree farm instead of one shipped from elsewhere or an artificial (ie. plastic) tree
    - We’re giving greener gifts whenever possible, like organic cotton Christmas pajamas instead of toxic polyester ones
    - We will try to make our Christmas dinner largely local

There are more, but those are the big ones :)
