Sibu Beauty – the wonders of sea buckthorn berries- product review

I’ve tried and reviewed many beauty products here in the lost world. Some were less than impressive and didn’t even make it into a blog post, but most were pretty good and did a nice job at doing what they’re meant to do. I’ve enjoyed being able to tell you about them all.

I was blessed a couple of weeks ago, with a selection of products to review from Sibu Beauty, who uses the sea buckthorn berry as a base for it’s product line.

The more I read about the sea buckthorn berry, the more my interest is piqued. According to Wikipedia, the nutrient and phytochemical constituents of sea-buckthorn berries may have potential effect in inflammatory disorders, cancer prevention or positive effect on bone marrow after chemotherapy it’s also one of few known fruits produces obvious skin softening benefits whether applied topically or consumed in juice form.

The fruit itself has 15 times the vitamin C than an orange and contains dense contents of carotenoids, vitamin E, amino acids, dietary minerals, and polyphenols. Wow! Those tiny little orange berries pack a powerful punch!

“Introducing Sibu Beauty, premium skin care products made from the Himalayan sea buckthorn berry. Known as the “beauty berry” across Europe and Asia, sea buckthorn contains over 190 bioactive compounds that restore, revitalize, and protect youthful beauty – from the inside-out AND outside-in. These hardy berries help nourish skin, hair, and nails with powerful antioxidants and essential fatty acids, including the rare Omega 7 – a key building block to healthy skin, hair, and nails, and also aids digestion and may help you maintain a healthier weight. Sibu Beauty features luxurious natural skin cleansers, moisturizes, and other topical treatments as well as dietary supplements that beautify and protect from the inside-out.”

The past 6 months have been rough in the lost world. I haven’t eaten properly and I certainly don’t sleep well. Consequently,I don’t feel as good as I should and my skin, hair and nails show the strain I’ve been under. In general, I don’t like to shout praises from the rooftops…for anything, but I’m going to today.

After just two weeks of a beauty regime that includes Revitalize and Renew Juice, Cellular Support Gel Caps, Sea Buckthorn Cleanse and Detox Facial Soap, Nourishing Facial Cream and Age Defying Eye Cream, I am beginning to feel better physically and my skin is losing that ‘muddy sallow look’ I’ve become accustomed to seeing when I look in the mirror. The skin on my face and neck are definitely softer and the texture feels improved to me. I look brighter, somehow.

It’s sounds a little complicated, I know, but it really hasn’t been. I drink an ounce of the juice in the morning, wash my face and apply the facial cream. At night, I take a couple of gel caps, wash my face and apply the face cream and eye cream. It takes all of about 3 minutes. Even I can handle that!

I’m still not eating properly, and my sleep hasn’t really improved, so the only difference in my daily routine are the Sibu Beauty products. I am truly impressed enough to continue using these products tomorrow….after I’m done with this review. I hope that you’ll stop by Sibu Beauty and take a look at their line of products which are all created with wildcrafted sea buckthorn.

All products that I was sent are 100% cruelty free and vegan, and gluten free. Sibu Beauty sea buckthorn berries are all natural, wildcrafted, sustainable, and sourced through fair trade agreements with Tibetan harvesters.
