Once upon a time, there was an abandoned Boston Terrier, by the name of Angus, who was looking for a home. Lucky for Angus, Darrin Wilson and his wife Janet, met him, fell in love and took him home to live happily ever after in Ontario, Canada.
Angus was a happy little fellow, quite content with the circumstance that life had handed to him and his humans loved him dearly. They loved him so much, in fact, that the following October, Darrin set out to create a toy, made in his likeness
*insert awwwwwwwww here* for Janet.

Janet loved it so much, that she posted pictures of the finished toy on Facebook which began a deluge of mail to Darrin from folks that wanted to know where they could get one too!
Darrin formed a company he called Tall Trees Toyworks and designed 5 more toys modeled after a boxer, pug, shih tzu, pekinese and a bulldog. He called them Wugadogs.
Of course, our little Angus, for all of his humble beginnings, became an overnight celebrity and his popularity grew! In July of 2012, Tall Trees Toyworks donated 300 of the Boston Terrier Wugadogs to sick children at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, in New York! I think there just might be a tiny bit of Angus’s spirit in each of those little Wugadogs..bringing hugs and love to each of those children, don’t you? After all, there’s nothing better than a good cuddle from a furbaby when we’re alone or scared or hurting!
Scheduled to be released one breed at a time, each Wugadog will be on the shelf for only 12 weeks before being discontinued to make room for the next Wugadog. No breed will share the limelight with another as no two Wugadog breeds will be on the shelf at the same time!
The Boston Terrier will only be available until midnight on December 31 before turning into a pumpkin and then the next Wugadog, a Boxer, will be released on January 1, 2013!

The little Boston Terrier Wugadogs are honestly the cutest lil guys ever…in typical Boston Terrier fashion, it’s strong, happy-go-lucky and friendly personality is evident – front feet extended and little fuzzbutt in the air – it seems to be begging to play! You can almost see that little nub of a tail wagging double time!
For now, Wugadogs are only available at select stores in Colorado or by ordering directly from the website. At only $8.99 each, they’re a bargain by anyone’s standards!
The wonderful folks at Tall Tree Toyworks would love for your littles to find a Wugadog under your tree on Christmas morning and are offering FOUR of my readers a chance to win a Wugadogs Boston Terrier of their own! Thank you so much!
