In memory…

We are given a stark reminder of how precious and fragile we all are. as we begin to process the horrific tragedy in Connecticut, today. Our hearts go out to the families who are suffering the unspeakable and they will be in our thoughts and prayers as we stand with those who are suffering so deeply My personal page, fan page and blog will go dark today in memory of those valiant little souls that have found their way home this day.

God Bless all involved.May people find peace through the Lord and his Angels on Earth. One of my sons was at VA TECH during the shooting and lost a special friend. To this day I still see the effects. Hug and hold your children. Pray for them and treasure all their memories.Let them know you are always there for them.

We’ve been thinking of them so much! I feel for all families in the situation!

We struggled on what to say to our own children. It’s mentioned all over the news, radio and the older one may hear things at school. We decided to talk to the 7 year old and not the 4 year old. We left it pretty brief and told him if he has ANY questions to come to us. We also mentioned that he should not go to other classmates to talk to them about it; due to the fact that their parents may or may not of brought it up to them. I hope we did the right thing about talking to him.

I think it’s beautiful what you’re doing with your blog in honor of remembering the precious lives lost. I can’t even wrap my mind around what happened. My heart will be in CT this weekend.
