It Came Upon a Midnight Clear by The Manor House String Quartet – product review

The Manor House String Quartet are from Buckinghamshire, England. They specialize in less recognized chamber works and have begun a series of themed and less formal concerts of popular pieces. Their Christmas concerts, with arrangements by Vaughn Jones, have begun to attract quite a following.

I was recently invited to review a lovely Christmas CD by The Manor House String Quartet – It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.

Available directly from Manor House Music with digital downloads on iTunes and Amazon, this wonderful CD contains 23 instrumental tracks of many well known carols as well as some newer lesser known offerings. Exploring the Christmas musical tradition from countries such as Great Britan, France, Germany, Ireland and the Ukraine, the CD contains the history of each carol in the notes packaged with the CD. This is a very nice plus for trivia buffs, like me!

I find this particular CD very relaxing and soothing to my spirit. It will provide the perfect background music for your holiday parties, popping in the CD player as you run your pre-holiday errands or simply sitting in the living room with your sweetie, sipping a glass of wine and watching the lights twinkle on your tree, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear is sure to become a family favorite to be treasured and enjoyed for many years.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
