Hugo The Happy Starfish – The Secret of Happiness – book review

Hugo is a sad little starfish that finds his life a bit of a bore so one day, he decides to find happiness. After a lot of searching, he manages to find the one true thing that makes him truly happy – sharing with others!

Hugo The Happy Starfish – The Secret of Happiness by Suzy Liebermann is an award-Winning Finalist in the CHILDREN’S MIND/ BODY/ SPIRIT category of The USA “Best Books 2012″ Awards, sponsored by USA Book News and after spending many happy bedtimes reading it, it’s easy to see why.

We love children’s books that educate as well as entertain. Hugo The Happy Starfish – The Secret of Happiness didn’t disappoint! Written in an engaging child friendly manner with tons of bright whimsical illustrations, Mikayla was empowered by learning about giving and sharing without even knowing she was being taught!

I love hearing Mikayla, at 5 years old, think of ways to give back and be kind. She came up with several ways, on her own, to help her brother Brian, who has autism. I like that!

Hugo The Happy Starfish – The Secret of Happiness is available on Hugo’s website as well as fine online retailers like
