A few months ago, I was invited to review some lovely jams from Rigoni di Asiago, a company that’s relatively new to the United States. A subsidiary of Rigoni di Asiago SPA, a 90 year old Italian company with main offices and factory in Asiago, Italy. You can read my initial review HERE. Well, the good folks at Rigoni di Asiago have sent me some more goodies to tell you about and among them was a jar of Rigoni Di Asiago Organic Wild Blueberry Fiordifrutta and a jar of Rigoni Di Asiago Organic Pomegranate Fiordifrutta! Be still my heart! Sweetened only with a bit of apple juice, to allow the true flavor of the fruit to shine through, they’ve definitely hit another home run, as far as I’m concerned!
I first tasted the Organic Wild Blueberry Fiordifrutta by way of a small sample pack tucked into my first box of products from Rigoni di Asiago. It was simply put, like a little sunshine on my tongue! I couldn’t get the thought of it out of my mind so I was thrilled to see that jar arrive on my doorstep! Unfortunately, the rest of my family was as thrilled as I so that lovely jar emptied in record time leaving me longing for blueberry season, still a good many weeks ahead!
Another favorite fruit, of mine, are pomegranates! Who doesn’t like those little gems of scarlet goodness though? No one that I know of, that’s for sure. The only complaint I ever hear about a pomegranate is that they’re a pain in the neck to eat! Not any more! Rigoni di Asiago has turned those jewel like nuggets of goodness into one of their wonderful organic fruit spreads! Remember how fast my Blueberry Spread disappeared? I was a bit smarter about the Pomegranate and tucked in the very back of the fridge behind the jar of tahini! I was able to enjoy it on my breakfast toast for two weeks! Pure bliss!

Oooooh, I LOVE jam! I eat it almost every morning on toast. I also have it on bisquits, waffles or pancakes! I know we would LOVE the apricot and raspberry, as they are our faves. But I would be interested in trying the pomegranite. Never had that one before….
