Every single plastic drinking straw you’ve ever used in your life (and probably the ones your parents used too) are still laying around somewhere on this planet. Think about that. Every. Single. Straw. In a landfill, in a waterway, polluting the earth.

I like the bendy straws too. I like that they have fundraisers but I don’t know how well that would go over here. I learned that Borosilicate glass is non-porous and and Hypo-allergenic and was first developed by German glassmaker Otto Schott in the late 19th century.

I love Glass Dharma straws and use them every single day; seriously I do. I start with my big one for my morning smoothie drink, move on to a standard for my never ending sparkling water glass and last (you may not know about this but check it out) I have a special rather thin one for my iced coffee (which I drink all afternoon) which fits in an (ahem) plastic coffee cup or a Starbucks cup and can be used for hot coffee too.
I know that sounds crazy but that is what I do, and obviously I’m not the only one or they wouldn’t make them I don’t think! I hate the feeling of plastic straws in my mouth now that I have glass ones.

The simple elegance straws in all of the different sizes, wow! I use a straw around here every day.. I tried stainless steel but got “creeped out” because I couldn’t tell how clean it was after washing

I learned the guarantee even covers if you don’t like it and thst they don’t have colored straws because china is only source and the thickness is hit and miss and not like the thickness of the clear ones…. I also learned they can fix chipped straws which I think is neat as it’s very green.
