I love to snack, but with all the choices out there, it can be a challenge to find a snack that’s truly healthy.
Recently, I was invited to try SkinnyPop Popcorn and I’d like to tell you about it today.
It can be tough, in a normal family, satisfying everyone’s snacking preference. The one food that I know we’ll all enjoy is popcorn. As long as I don’t preface it with the word ‘healthy’ that is. There are several family members that only have to hear that word and their minds are made up, and not in a positive way.
After trying SkinnyPop for myself, I couldn’t wait for everyone else to try it too. So, after carefully pouring it into a big bowl (and hiding the bag) I brought it out for one of our movie nights. It was gone in a flash! My husband even asked that I ‘make’ another batch!
With only 39 skinny little calories a cup, I was more than happy to oblige him. Mr. Meat and Potatoes seldom gets enough fiber in his diet, so I love sneaking in when I can and popcorn is a great source of fiber. Score! It has a great old fashioned ‘popcorny’ flavor with absolutely no cholesterol and zero trans fat. This delicious all natural snack is gluten free and contains no nasty GMOs either.
