Orbit for Kids Gum – product review

“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Orbit for Kids. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”

My littles are gum chewing fools! Seriously, we go through more gum than Carter’s has pills, here in the lost world. It wasn’t always so. Once upon a time, I forbade my kids to chew gums in my line of sight! Oh how I loathed seeing a child chew gum! They reminded me of little cows…chewing their cud!

Thankfully, with age comes a little more wisdom (and relaxation) and the younger littles have a much more laid back mama and grandma. You begin to realize that you have to pick your battles and things you once thought were huge, turn out to be non issues, after all. Such was the case with gum.

Little did I know, at the time, that my decision to allow gum in our home was a very positive step toward good dental health in my children!

Recently, I was invited to participate in a campaign for Orbit For Kids and learned some pretty amazing facts.

Orbit for Kids Sugarfree Gum helps teeth 3 ways:

Chewing sugarfree gum stimulates saliva production—an important defense mechanism to help protect teeth. And healthy teeth mean happy mouths!

Neutralizes Plaque acids. The increased saliva stimulation that comes from chewing sugarfree gum has been demonstrated to neutralize plaque acids. Fabulous!

Helps keep teeth clean. Chewing sugarfree gum within 15 minutes of eating or drinking helps clear food debris from teeth. That’s something to smile about!

What?? Orbit for Kids Sugarfree Gum is actually good for children’s dental hygiene. In fact, Orbit for Kids has actually been approved by the ADA. I like that!

How wonderful to have another weapon in our fight against tooth decay and frankly, my kids like Orbit for Kids much better than light up toothbrushes, star charts and all the other ways we’ve tried in our efforts to make brushing fun.

The children loved the Strawberry Banana flavor we were sent and it makes really great bubbles too! Can’t beat that!
