Wash’n Zip – the world’s cleanest pet bed! review and #giveaway ends 9/9

Disclosure: The blog owner (that’s me!) received a product or promotional item from Wash’n Zip to facilitate this review. I was under no obligation to post a positive review. Sleeping space is always at a premium, here in the lost world. With 5 dogs, a slew of cats, and now an itty bitty piggie, there’s a lot of vying for position going on.

Most nights, Cooper and Cookie sleep on the big bed with Dad and I, but senior Fleego’s old bones just won’t allow that. She’s not even crazy about those raised pvc beds.  I still want to provide her with a soft cushy service on which to rest her arthritic bones on, though, but until recently, I didn’t have a good solution.

In honor of National Dog Day, I have a wonderful new product to tell you about – the Wash’n Zip pet bed.

They bill themselves as the world’s cleanest pet bed, and on that count, I have to agree. Cleaning is a simple matter of unzipping and tossing it in the washer. When it’s done, all I have to do is run it through the dryer, zip it back up and viola! The unique one-piece design zips up to form a warm, fluffy, comfortable bed for Flee!

We’ve been through A LOT of pet beds down through the years, the biggest drawback being the way they retain odor. Even the ones with zip off covers eventually acquire a smell that no amount of airing out will get rid of. The unique, completely washable design of the Wash’nZip pet bed eliminates that concern, for good!

Heck, one day, without realizing it was a pet bed, daughter Caitlyn, grabbed my Wash’n Zip out of the dryer and took it with her to the barn to lay baby Desi on while Cate cleaned stalls! Honestly, how many dog beds do you know that smell good enough for that?

Available in either a buttery soft animal print with a khaki backing or an oatmeal sherpa top with khaki backing, the Wash’n Zip comes in sizes to fit any dog from Chihuahua to Mastiff and starting at just $39.99, is a wonderful value…You’d pay more for most pet beds and have to replace them in a year or two.

Purchase your own Wash’n Zip pet bed on the website and be sure to connect with them on Facebook too!

The wonderful folks at Wash’n Zip have generously offered my readers the chance to win one of their great pet beds! You’ll be able to choose the fabric and either an extra small, small, medium or large size!! Thank you so much!

  3. Trish B. says:

I have nine of my own rescued dogs and one foster dog. I would put this bed in the living room so that they could share it! I would love to have a Wash’nZip bed as most of my dogs are seniors and sometimes have accidents. This would make my life so much easier! Thank you!

  4. Susan says:

would be for my baby girl Daisy – German Shorthair Pointer

  5. Lacey says:

I have been wanting 3 of these for quite a while, but I can’t afford all three and if I buy one my other two dogs would be jealous. It’s like that around here : )

  6. deanna says:

for my pooch Day-Z. She is a Jack Russell Terrier who LOVES to be dirty. We need to wash her stuff lots because she gets things so stinky

  7. Wanda McHenry says:

This would be for my furbaby Folly. I would love to have one of these beds because they are so easy to wash and dry.

  8. Danielle Murgia says:

This would be for my Sissy. I would love to have one because that way I would be able to wash it when there were accidents or needing to be washed.

  9. KateV says:

I’d love to try this for my older girl, Cheyenne. She sometimes has accidents in her sleep- this sounds much easier to clean than her current beds!

  10. My 3 beagle mix girls would share this, I think Molly and Daisy would be the main 2 sharing it because Roxy prefers to sleep in the queen size bed(with her people) but Molly has troible getting on the bed and Daisy is having surgery next month and this would be perfect so she can be comfy

  11. Helga says:

I would get this for my doxie!

  12. Heather! says:

I recently had to throw out my dog’s last. Bed because it was pretty disgusting and couldn’t be washed. He really needs a new one now; this would be perfect for him!

This would be for my spoiled cats whose bed is really getting very old and it has been washed a thousand times and I am not sure it can keep getting washed. these are neat.

  14. Danielle E. says:

It would be for my cocker spaniel Wilson. I love pet beds that you can easily wash. What good does it do to have the dog washed and groomed and not be able to wash his bed as well

It would be for my dog Kota. He is old and deserves a nice comfy bed on the floor in the living room hanging out with us

  16. Kristal says:

This will be for my dog (and 3 cats). Pearl, my dog, has super allergic skin and she can get to smelling pretty bad after just a few days and other beds are hard, if not impossible, to wash. This looks like it would be amazing to have.

  17. steve weber says:

  21. Deborah D says:

For my Chocolate lab because she needs a place to sleep.

This would be for our pup, whom only has a beat-up old blanket that he uses. This would be great for him to have a place to put his head, if that cat allows it.

  23. Danielle Porter says:

It would be for my dog Samantha. We don’t even have a pet bed for her. I think she would like this.

  24. Shelley P says:

It would be for my 5 small dogs to use. I’d love a dog bed that is easier to wash because with 5 dogs their beds get dirty and smelly fast.

  25. Freebies for Fido says:

This would be for one of our 3 dogs or 3 cats ;-)
    They love pillows and beds!

  26. Linda Meyers-Gabbard says:

This would be for my dog, Dot. She LOVES beds! She has one in the living room, one in her crate and one in the office by the computer. But she doesn’t have one by my sewing machine, where I am frequently!

  38. Michelle S says:

This would be for my dog, but I know that the cats would share it too! It looks super comfy, and I just love the animal print. Before I lost my 14 year old dog, he would often have accidents while he slept. This bed would have been the perfect solution.

  39. I like that you ask for the contact information upfront. I think its a good idea.

  40. This would be for my dog, a Golden Retriever. I would love to win the Wash’n-Zip Pet Bed because she sheds her hair – and it gets everywhere.

This would be for my 2 little boys~Buster and Sonnie.

  46. Jennifer P - Vicki Furrin on Rafflecopter says:

This would be for Vicki my 11.5 yr old rescue mix. I’d love this for her as her current bed is about 10 years old and the cover doesn’t unzip. Now that my washing machine is on the blink it’s a pain to take it to my sister’s house or the laundromat to wash. This looks much easier. Thanks for the giveaway.

  50. Kathryn Mcneal says:

If I won, I’d keep it here for when my hubbys fur babies come and visit. One of them is having all of their teeth pulled and the little monster (aka pug baby) hasn’t been very nice to him and he may need some time away from her.

  51. Crystal Rose says:

I would get this for my pup, Jareth. Right now his bed is just a folded fleece blanket which I wash weekly. I would love to have something like this for him. I think it would be even more comfortable.

  52. kay says:

Awesome review it’s hard to find beds don’t start to smell…we’ve been through three already and our pup is only 5 months old.
