  8. Jennifer P says:

I think my 25th was the most memorable, just because I was so miserable. I had a really hard time dealing with the fact that I was a quarter of a century. I was miserable from about 6 months before and cried like a baby all day when it happened. Something about “a quarter century” just threw me for a loop. I had the same problem when I turned 50 a couple years ago. From January until my birthday in June I was miserable because I was going to be half a century. This time though, when the actual day, came I was fine. I was over it. Can’t wait to see what 75 brings. Yikes!

  9. My most memorable birthday was was 10th birthday.. My entire family came to my surprise birthday party. I don’t mean just family… I mean my entire family… almost like a reunion, including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents. It really was a great birthday.

When my mother was giving a birthday dinner for my 14th birthday. She told me my 2 friends were coming at six o’clock so to make sure to take a bath at 5 o’clock. I was in the bath tub when the door opens and my friends come in. At 14 you don’t like that kind of surprise!
Happy Birthday to you and thanks for the contest.

I guess my most memorable birthday was my 16th. While many get a car, I got a quarter horse! I loved that horse, I name him Jim for some reason I cannot remember. I rode him every chance I got until I was diagnosed with Lupus at 18 and had to sell him because I was to sick to ride anymore.

  13. Kathleen says:

Honestly, I never really had birthdays growing up, My birthday is four days after Christmas and I think everyone was burned out from the holiday. I got my engagement ring on my birthday! That’s a HAPPY memory!

My 36th birthday – I woke up with a toothache, and plans to go out to Olive Garden for dinner with my boyfriend. Instead, by 3pm I was driving to every dentist in town, crying and trying to find someone to extract my abscessed molar. I finally found one who would do it at 7pm. But when I got in my van to leave for the dentist, it wouldn’t start (found out the next day it was the fuel pump). Even worse, my boyfriend was too tired to drive me to the dentist himself – I wound up having to beg a ride there and back off his mom. Not a fun birthday, but memorable!
